The Kmart Head Office building owned by Frasers Property Group was experiencing a rapid growth in the number of people travelling to work by bicycle — increasing the demand for bike storage, lockers and showers. The six levels of existing amenities were also tired and in need of a renewal.
The end-of-trip facility was constructed within the existing basement, requiring new structure slats, service alterations and additions, various pumps and tanks, as well as digital lockers. The six levels of amenities were renewed in one-week blocks, at the same time as the end-of-trip facility.
