The Builtwise Constructions directors are ‘hands-on’ and maintain an intimate involvement in all projects. We believe that communication is the key to great service, and with regular status meetings and reporting you will remain informed and up-to-date on all aspects of your project.
A shared passion for Design & Construct and a desire to do it their way, led Trent Holbrook and Daniel Howley to establish Builtwise Constructions in 2011. Starting out as a relatively small construction company, our client-side experience has given us the know-how to service big corporates which has seen our client base quickly grow, with key projects awarded for clients such as Bunnings, Masters Home Improvement, Frasers Property and Salta Properties.

Early 2015 saw us gain certification for compliance with AS4801: 2001 OH&S Management Systems. Then January 2016 saw another major milestone with the move to our new purpose-built head office in Mt Waverley, giving us the capacity to grow as future business potential is realised.

Careers pageThe safety of our employees, consultants, contractors and clients is of the highest priority at Builtwise Constructions. Before being awarded any contract, all contractors must satisfy our WHS&E requirements by completing a ‘Sub-contractor Safety Pack’ – an initiative by WorkSafe and the Victorian Construction Safety Alliance. All of our projects have an independent safety audit conducted monthly.

Trent has more than 20 years experience in the Design & Construct sector, delivering Commercial, Industrial, and Retail projects across Australia.
Prior to establishing Builtwise Constructions, Trent honed his experience with Australand (now Frasers Property), working on a vast array of Commercial, Industrial and Retail projects. His overall responsibilities eventually incorporating the Southern Region of Australia – Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, which at it’s peak, included staff of more than 60 people and turned over $120M - $150M per year. Over his tenure, Trent was directly involved in delivering more than 70 Commercial, Industrial, Retail and Manufacturing projects around Australia.
Today, as a Director at Builtwise Constructions, Trent’s day-to-day duties include, client relations, design management, procurement, and WHS&E policy and procedure implementation. Trent is the direct client contact with the ultimate responsibility of the delivery of Builtwise Constructions projects.
In his spare time Trent is a boating and fishing enthusiast.
Daniel is the ‘hands-on’ Director at Builtwise Constructions. He oversees all on-site construction activities and is on-site most days of the week, dedicating his time to co-ordinating the day-to-day activities of your project, as well as closely monitoring WHS&E compliance, quality and program.
Daniel is also a keen surfer and heads down to Bells Beach or up north whenever the opportunity arises.
